Honoring the Brave

Living Our Mission Beyond the Oilfield

At Last Mile Production, honoring those who served is woven into everything we do. Every project we complete isn’t just about restoring the earth—it’s about carrying forward the legacy of the brave souls who gave their all for our country and our communities Through land restoration, carbon reduction, and community investment, we walk each mile in their honor.

From Final Footsteps to First Steps Forward

The brave souls who gave their lives served until their last mile—and we are honored to carry their legacy forward. At Last Mile Production, we don’t just plug abandoned oil wells; we restore the land, protect the climate, and leave behind a lasting legacy of stewardship. But our mission doesn’t end with the environment. We are driven by a deeper calling: to walk the last mile in honor of those who gave their all.

A Living Legacy of Service

For every well we plug, for every ton of carbon we prevent from entering the atmosphere, we walk the final steps on behalf of the fallen—military heroes and first responders—who never had the chance to finish their race. We believe sacrifice should not simply be remembered—it should be lived out. Through every project completed, we are building a lasting, living legacy:

1. One that heals the earth.

2. One that lifts up the families they left behind.

3. One that gives back, mile by mile.

Because true restoration is measured not only in land reclaimed—but in lives honored.

Our Philanthropic Partnerships

The Gary Sinise Foundation

As part of our mission, Last Mile Production proudly partners with the Gary Sinise Foundation - an organization dedicated to supporting military families, veterans, first responders, and Gold Star families. Every carbon credit we generate, every well we restore, helps advance a cause bigger than ourselves: honoring those who serve and ensuring their sacrifices are never forgotten.

The Medal of Honor Museum Initiative

Last Mile's commitment to service for giving back includes commissioning original paintings by artists for the Arlington, Texas Medal of Honor Museum - artwork that honors two Texas heroes who earned the Presidential Medal of Honor as members of the first SEAL Team 6 during the Vietnam War. These tributes will stand as a permanent reminder of their courage and legacy.
